  Smartflow has good functionality when it comes to its digital treatment sheets, anaesthetic charts and whiteboards. Its fairly intuitive and easy to learn and master. The billing integration into our PMS (Rx Works) is a really handy function and helps to prevent income leakage through people forgetting to bill items. The digital forms are fully customisable and integrate well with our PMS. Unfortunately, Smartflow lets itself down with its technical support which is not good. It also is not showing any strong desire to innovate or evolve the product. It was frequently buggy and we had a fair bit of lag with the software during the opening hours of the hospital. One of the main reasons we decided to move away from Smartflow was the lack of listenting to us as the customer. We requested , many times, if they could create a digital consent form that coudl be emailed to owners before the day of their pet’s procedure as this would vastly improve our workflow efficiency and customer experience. There was absolutely no appetite to accommodate this or even entertain it which was very disappointing. As a result, we have moved away to Vetcheck who have been far more innovative and willing to listen to their customer and what we need from a hospital management system.
